So stunningly detailed and immersive, the KS-7502-THX in-ceiling surround speaker brings a whole new dimension of reality to home theater. Perhaps that’s why it’s the first of its kind to receive the highly respected Ultra2 certification from THX.

Our top-of-the-line in-ceiling surround speaker, the KS-7502-THX uses highly respected certification, patented technology and premium materials to deliver compelling audio experiences that are second to none. In fact, most in-ceiling surrounds can’t “fool” listeners into believing the sound is coming from all around them, rather than from above. But that’s not a problem for the KS-7502-THX, as it offers a smooth, seamless broad distribution of sound.

The KS-7502-THX employs dual 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers that operate in an enclosed tuned-port chamber. These exclusive woofer cones offer superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the drivers’ operating ranges, resulting in consistent bass response regardless of the installation or ceiling air space.

Dual 1-inch titanium horn-loaded tweeters lie in a patented vertically stacked Wide Dispersion Surround Technology array, producing enveloping surround performances and precise localization of individual effects.

Adding to its first-class sound, the KS-7502-THX also has a premium look and feel with its grille off, featuring a deluxe MDF baffle with aluminum fascia. But when covered, the speaker’s paintable grille allows it to blend in perfectly with any home décor. All-new sure-grip mounting dogs offer even pressure against drywall for long-term installation reliability.

Furthermore, the KS-7502-THX comes with a lot of options. It is timbre matched to all of our THX Ultra2-certified products, so you can mix and match for the discreet stereo or home theater system that’s just right for you.

R-5650-S

Engineered to bring a new dimension of reality and convenience to a flush-mount design, the Klipsch R-5650-S in-wall surround sound speaker features a unique patented horn array that allows system designers to create enveloping sound fields and localized effects without disrupting a home's décor. In fact, Electronic House Expo (EHX) voted it 2005's best in-wall speaker on the market for less than $1,000 a pair.

Designed specifically for surround use in home theater applications, the R-5650-S employs a 6.5-inch Cerametallic™ woofer and dual 1-inch titanium compression drivers. Because of its patented horn array, which is two vertically stacked Tractrix® Horn-loaded tweeters pointing in opposite directions, the R-5650-S outperforms conventional designs by maximizing diffusion, clarity and efficiency, while minimizing room interactions that blur sonic detail.

The R-5650-S draws listeners into the middle of the action through the use of Klipsch's proprietary Wide Dispersion Surround Technology or WDST™. The careful alignment of the two controlled-directivity Tractrix Horn tweeters, angled opposite of one another, yields an incredibly wide dispersion pattern.

Able to function in any standard wall, ceiling or drop ceiling, the R-5650-S can be paired with the Klipsch IK-650-W installation kit (sold separately). This revolutionary kit design incorporates a mud ring, breakaway wire tie and color-coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. It also includes perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws, staples or nails. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings can be folded around the edge of the studs if necessary.

RSX-3

As one of the newest members of the Reference Satellite family, the RSX-3 is the smallest and most affordable monitor in the line. This extremely compact loudspeaker delivers the same dynamic sound experience that has made its larger counterparts best-sellers.

Available in a black finish, the RSX-3 is a two-way magnetically shielded speaker that employs a 3.5-inch Cerametallic™ woofer and 0.75-inch titanium-dome compression driver coupled to an exclusive round MicroTractrix™ Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency. This speaker also features high-quality network components and premium internal wiring.

The woofer is a long-throw unit driven by a powerful magnetic motor structure. The Cerametallic™ cone is lightweight with excellent rigidity, which dramatically reduces any resonance. As a result, the RSX-3 is capable of robust bass extending low enough for comfortable operation with today's built-in A/V preamp/processor and receiver crossovers.

The RSX-3 has an integrated pedestal stand with a ball joint that allows it to be adjusted in almost any direction by using the provided allen wrench. A keyhole is featured on the underside of the stand base for no-hassle wall mounting. The speaker grille magnetically snaps into place over the front baffle, while a sturdy five-way binding post ensures connection to any type of cable.

The RSX-3 is sold in a single box that includes four RSX-3s and one RCX-3. This speaker is also available in a complete home theater package called the Cinema 6. This package includes four RSX-3s, one RCX-3 and a Reference Series RPW-10 subwoofer.

RS-10

Part of the new entry-level Reference 10 family, the RS-10 surround loudspeaker offers the same advanced technology and world-class materials as the Reference III surrounds but from a smaller enclosure and at a lower price point.

The RS-10 delivers precise sonic detail through the careful positioning of two Tractrix® Horn loaded titanium-dome tweeters and one 4-inch woofer. By aligning the two horns at 90 degrees with respect to each other, along with the front-firing woofer, the RS-10 smoothly covers a 180-degree horizontal arc, allowing maximum placement flexibility. This unique Wide Dispersion Surround Technology™ delivers a new dimension of reality and convenience, and produces a smooth, seamless broad distribution of sound, which is the perfect vehicle for every surround format.

The woofer on the RS-10 still features Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic™ material. Made with an anodized aluminum, this cone is strong and dent resistant. The anodizing process converts its inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range.

As in all Reference Series speakers, the RS-10 crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration.

The RS-10 comes with a back-panel keyhole for on-wall mounting and a threaded insert for attachment to popular adjustable wall and ceiling brackets.

Available in a black vinyl finish, the RS-10 features a low-diffraction sculpted baffle and a grille for an elegant fit and finish.

Because it is capable of producing enveloping ambient sound fields and localizing specific surround effects, the RS-10 will give its listeners a level of you-are-there realism that is unheard of in this price category.

The horizontal linear grain and absence of visible fasteners allows the P-27S to elegantly complement your furniture and décor.

From every angle, every perspective, the P-27S surround speaker is how luxury should look. It’s a treat for the senses—even before you hear it.

A Legacy Reborn
Since 1946, Klipsch has been synonymous with horn-loaded technology. And since then, we’ve been guided by the four design principles set forth by our founder Paul W. Klipsch: high efficiency, low distortion, controlled directivity and wide and flat frequency response. After just one listen, you’ll discover the P-27S represents the latest advancement in horn technology and purest application of those design principles yet.

In order to achieve realistic and enveloping surround sound experiences, the P-27S employs dual 0.75-inch titanium diaphragm compression drivers mated to 90º by 70º Tractrix Horns in our exclusive Wide Dispersion Surround Technology array, also known as WDST. It’s a design that provides crystal-clear sonic detail even in listening areas with less than ideal configurations, so the surround sound is pointed at you no matter where you sit.

For superior bass performance, the P-27S’s low-frequency driver employs dual 7-inch hybrid cone woofers, powered by a unique neodymium magnet structure. Dual ports on the front of the speaker enhance low-distortion bass response. Each woofer’s voice coil responds accurately to the smallest signal modulation, yet can also handle the high power of the most demanding soundtracks.

Many speakers of this caliber rely on off-the-shelf drivers; every P-27S driver has been engineered and built for this specific application. Years of research, development and testing resulted in a remarkable driver design that exceeds even our own high performance standards.

Available in a black finish with titanium accents, the contemporary look of the S-3 is two-fold. With its grille on, the S-3 offers a sense of elegance that nicely blends in with your home décor, but take the grille off and you get an aggressive and powerful statement that exudes extreme performance.

Equally adept to establishing enveloping ambient sound fields and localizing specific surround effects, the S-3 WDST surround delivers the full impact of special effects, resulting in the ultimate you-are-there experience.
